1. Guided meditation script for the Lover Empath

This meditation was crafted specifically for your empath archetype. If you want, you can record the meditation using your own voice and play it back for yourself. Use this practice when you feel ungrounded or misaligned from your emotions and want to gain clarity around what you are feeling.

  • Settle into your preferred meditation posture.
  • Close your eyes.
  • Bring your awareness to your spine.
  • Straighten your spine and relax your shoulders.
  • Take a deep breath in through your nose.
  • And hold for 1, 2, 3, 4 seconds.
  • And breathe out through your mouth.
  • Again, take a deep breath in, this time focusing on expanding the lungs.
  • Hold for 1, 2, 3, 4.
  • And breathe out through your mouth.
  • Again, breathe in, hold 1, 2, 3, 4, and breathe out.
  • Continue breathing naturally and rhythmically now.
  • Allow yourself to become calm.
  • Relax and imagine tension flowing away from your body.
  • To deepen this relaxation you will tense and release each muscle group starting at the top of the head.
  • Move your awareness to there now.
  • And tighten with a gentle inhale and release with an exhale.
  • Take a deep breath in and out.
  • To your face now, hold, breathe in, and release, breathe out.
  • To your neck, hold, breathe in, and release, breathe out.
  • Take a deep breath in and out.
  • Shoulders and chest, hold and release.
  • Tense and release your back.
  • Take a deep breath in and out.
  • Your belly.
  • Take a deep breath.
  • Your pelvis.
  • Take a deep breath.
  • Your hips and take a deep breath.
  • Your thighs. Breathe.
  • Your calves.
  • Take a deep breath.
  • Your feet.
  • Take a deep breath.
  • And finally your toes.
  • Take a deep breath.
  • And relax.
  • Come into the present moment.
  • Turn your attention towards your breath.
  • Feel it moving in and out of your lungs.
  • As thoughts arise, let them pass in front of your mind’s eye without attaching too closely.
  • Sense your thoughts as mist gently moving through the air.
  • Now start to imagine you are breathing in a vivid sky blue color.
  • And when you exhale, imagine you are breathing out the color of mud.
  • With each breath, you are taking in this clear blue and while exhaling you are letting go of muddled energy.
  • Release the muddy color and imagine it returning to the dirt and settling into the Earth.
  • Let the intensity of the blue become more and more vivid as you breathe.
  • Finally, in your mind think to yourself about increasing your clarity.
  • See yourself as a clear channel for energy to flow through.
  • Commune with yourself by being present in this moment.
  • Sit in stillness for several minutes.
  • Then take three deep breaths before opening your eyes and ending this practice.

2. List of affirmations to empower your empath archetype

Affirmations are a great way to bring a shift in mindset, helping you move your perception at a subconscious level. Here are some affirmations for your archetype. You can repeat one or several of these daily, while you are driving, or cooking a meal.

One great technique for the Lover Empath is to write one down on a piece of paper and tape it to your mirror so you see it as you get ready for your day.
